Kevin recently co-authored a comprehensive volume called The Shorebird Guide. This innovative work presents a different approach to field identification, using various impressions for initial field study. Birding by Impression is a great way for beginners to learn more about birds in their backyards and local wild areas as well as for experienced birders to hone their observation and identification skills.

He is also President of Jaeger Tours, Inc., a birding/nature tour company that encourages a total enjoyment of birds in their natural world.  Jaeger Tours, Inc. builds well-rounded tours that focus on birds and natural history.
